The GENIUS System has been designed for using a new technique of “tray and development” for single crowns and bridges. It allows to save time and impression material.
The GENIUS System solves the problems of occlusor, the articulations and pins replacing. It is time, impression material and plaster saving.
1. Setting of the impression
Put into the mouth of the patient the impression
tray SPEEDY. Verify interferences with the gingiva. Adjust the bords
with a knife. Fill in the two sides of SPEEDY with eventual first impression
material.
Insert into the mouth the impression tray and realise contemporary the
setting of the impression. Invite the patient to execute lateral movements.
Extract and fill with second impression material. Complete the setting
of the final impression.
2.
Plaster flowing
•open the occlusor
for 180°.
• knead the plaster, fill in the double impression
and the niches of the GENIUS.
•wait for the plaster becomes a little bit
harder (using impression tray SPEEDY avoids waiting) and close the occlusor
with the tray inside.
•open the occlusor.
•cut the models and begin with the construction.
