Maxillary sinus lift with the Pro SCV kit – Sinus lift

A 44-year-old patient, J.T., presented for an examination due to a vertical fracture of tooth no. 5 (1.4) and an extensive area of apical osteolysis associated with the affected element. To meet the patient’s requests, the extraction of tooth no. Per soddisfare le richieste del paziente, l’estrazione del dente n.

Due to the limited remaining apical bone height, implant placement was performed concurrently with a maxillary sinus lift using a crestal approach, employing the “PRO SCV Sinus Lift” technique. In addition, to counteract horizontal volume loss in the post-extraction socket, a synthetic graft (bioglass) was placed around the coronal portion of the implant, and a collagen membrane was sutured in the coronal direction to protect the graft. During the surgical re-entry, a 3D collagen matrix was grafted to improve the peri-implant soft tissues. The 5-year follow-up images show optimal maintenance of peri-implant bone levels.
